Founded in 2015, Oriano Clean Energy has grown from a focused solar EPC firm into a 4+ GWp integrated clean energy platform delivering end-to-end solutions across solar EPC, EHV infrastructure, RE park development and asset management.

With 1.5+ GWp commissioned, 1+ GWp under O&M and operations across 14+ states and union territories, we manage the full value chain from land acquisition to grid connectivity under one roof. Energy excellence, delivered.

Inception and Foundation of Our Journey

Early Foundations of Oriano Clean Energy were laid with CCL Lauren private Limited which commissioned India’s 1st Concentrated Solar Project of 50 MW for Godavari Power

2012

Inception and Foundation of Our Journey

Founded in 2015, Oriano Clean Energy began its mission to provide turnkey EPC solutions. Based in Mumbai, the startup focused on utility-scale and C&I solar projects

2015

Emerging Leader in Utility scale EPC segment

We established ourselves as a rising powerhouse in the renewable sector. We were honored as the "Emerging Solar EPC of the Year" by NAERL, recognizing our operational excellence. Addtionally secured 1st open access project of 23 MW

2016

Series-A Funding and Utility-Scale Excellence

It became a transformative year for us with included Series-A funding from SIDBI Venture Capital to accelerate its expansion. We also demonstrated our technical prowess by successfully commissioning a 50 MW solar plant in Karnataka. These achievements culminated in winning the "Solar PV EPC Company of the Year" for utility-scale projects.

2017

Achieved Global recognition

Our project excellence let to us being honoured as the "Solar PV EPC Company of the Year" for the utility-scale category of 50–100 MW. Our rapid expansion was further validated by Deloitte, which named Oriano the fastest-growing Clean Energy Company and the 4th fastest-growing Technology Company.

2018

Year of Rapid Growth and Expansion

We achieved a significant operational milestone by commissioning over 175 MWp of cumulative solar projects. We also diversified its market presence by launching innovative solar rooftop kits and expanding into other consumer-focused business segments, further solidifying its reputation as a versatile renewable energy leader.

2019

Resilience and Strategic Solar Park Development

The company also pivoted strategically toward comprehensive infrastructure, launching the development of integrated Solar Parks and EHV Infra EPC as new Business

2020

Strengthening Leadership and Project Execution

We successfully commissioned multiple large-scale solar projects secured for prestigious clients like Godavari Power and the Hira Group. This year also marked a vital organizational shift for us, ensuring a smooth management transition as Mr. Yeshwant Rao and Mr. Lokendra Singh took over as Managing Director and CEO, respectively.

2021

Mastering Extra High Voltage Capabilities

We significantly bolstered our technical expertise by commissioning multiple projects at the Extra High Voltage (EHV) level. This milestone established our strong credentials in EHV installation, switchyard development, and the installation & commissioning of transmission lines, including the successful management of complex Right of Way (RoW) requirements.

2022

Establishing Dominance in Large-Scale EPC

We firmly established its presence as a premier large-scale Solar EPC player by securing its first individual project exceeding 300 MWp. Demonstrating a commitment to operational excellence and safety, we also achieved prestigious ISO-9001:2015 and ISO-45001:2018 certifications, reinforcing our reputation for quality and world-class standards.

2023

Market Leadership and Organizational Expansion

Oriano solidified its market leadership by securing over 500 MWp in new orders and earning a top-five ranking in Mercom’s Solar India EPC Market Leaderboard. Key wins included a 184 MWp project featuring comprehensive 220KV switchyard and transmission scope, supported by significant growth in leadership and organizational processes.

2024

IPP Debut and Asset Management Excellence

IPP Debut and 1+ GWp Orderbook We reached a pivotal milestone by securing its first project as an IPP, a 57 MW capacity with GUVNL. The company also cross another milestone of securing 1+GWp order book in a financial year

2025

A landmark start to 2026

The company has started the year with securing its largest order of 400+ MWp
